It is particularly important to us that you enjoy coming to our practice without fear and that you understand the general process and the need of your orthodontic treatment. You are the main focus for us.
Getting to know each other
During your first visit to our practice, we would first like to find out in a personal conversation why you came to us. After examining the teeth, the position of the teeth and jaw as well as the mandibular joint, we will talk to you about the various treatment options and clarify any concerns.
Taking X-rays and impressions
Diagnostic documents are only prepared if treatment is needed and desired. These include pictures, X-rays and impressions (intraoral scans) of the teeth and jaw.
Discussion of the treatment concept
One week later, we will discuss the individually tailored treatment concept with you. You will receive your complete documents to take home for review, so you can look at everything in peace.
Beginning of the treatment
Treatment only starts after all your questions are satisfactorily answered. Active orthodontic treatment averages two to three years. This is followed by the holding (retention) phase. Depending on the age and malocclusion, the treatment may also be shorter.
Medical history form/patient questionnaire
We look forward to meeting you! In order to significantly reduce your waiting time at your first visit, you have the opportunity to fill out our medical history form/patient questionnaire beforehand. Simply print and fill out the PDF file at home and bring it to your appointment. If you have any questions, we will gladly assist you.
